Ingredients:
Fresh artichokes in season, Cooked Ham, Eggs,
Parmesan cheese, Tomato sauce (Italian preserve),
Mozzarella cheese, Dry bread crumbs.
Procedure:
Slice the artichokes length ways, dip them into
the beaten egg mix, then into the dry breadcrumbs
and fry these in an abundance of olive oil. In
an oven proof dish, layer the bottom with a thin
coating of the tomato sauce, then a layer of the
fried artichokes, a layer of sliced cooked ham
and then a layer of grated mozzarella cheese.
On the mozzarella, crumble over some of the boiled
eggs and then add a layer of sliced tomato.
Add another layer of fried artichokes and repeat
with the reaming condiments.
Top with a layer of tomato sauce and a sprinkle
of parmesan cheese.
Bake in an oven for approximately 10 minutes at
180 degrees.
